Fun in the Park has become an annual event in Miller Park. This event is designed to bring families into the park to have a lot of fun and to have positive interaction with the officers in the Northeast Precinct. It was extrememly hot this year, but we still had a lot of fun. There was a bicycle/tricycle obstacle course, free bike helmets, free new and used bicycle raffle, dunk tank, horse petting, Nebraska Humane Society, Fire Safety Trailer, FREE burgers and hot dogs! Community Bike Shop was on hand to pre-check all the used bikes before distribution...thanks Matt! Everyone had a great time! Thanks to all the volunteers, who helped with this event. Without all the support from the Northeast Precinct and all the volunteers in the community doing everything from registration, raffles, cooking and cleaning...this event would not be possible. You know who you are...THANK YOU!!!
